Servicing the Dallas-Fort Worth area, this accredited hospital wants to provide their patients with quality and affordable healthcare. Over the last decade, the hospital has extensively upgraded their facility and equipment, including: their state-of-the-art Emergency department and newly-upgraded medical equipment, helping modernize this healthcare facility. Under this mission and values, the Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will help continue to guide this hospital to be the best in quality healthcare.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee a strong team consisting of Financial Analysts, Accountants, and Revenue Cycle Analysts. The Hospital CFO will gather and analyze financial data to assess that the hospital is within the operating budget and funds are allocated properly to various departments. Furthermore, the Healthcare Chief Financial Officer will help implement innovative policies and programs to help continue the growth of the hospitals net revenue by working with the CEO and Hospital Board of Directors.
The Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO)’s primary responsibilities will include the guidance for all things financial, including data processing, general accounting, admissions, statistical reporting and healthcare review. The Healthcare CFO will prepare the hospitals annual budget, based on prior years and the current year capital. The Healthcare CFO will work with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer by recommending where the hospital can spearhead capital assets and reduce costs, to help shape both the short-term and long-term financial future of the facility. Furthermore, the Healthcare Chief Financial Officer will work with the corporate office on the hospital’s monthly operation reviews.
In addition to having a strong financial background, the Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will also have knowledge and experience working in a short-term acute care facility. The Hospital CFO will ideally have a and MBA and be CPA certified, but not required.
