This 130+ bed facility serves the surrounding communities with full service acute care as well as behavioral health services. The EMS Director will join a staff of over 500 healthcare professionals that provide high quality healthcare to approximately 100,000 people in the community. 

Reporting directly to the ACEO, the EMS Director will work closely with the Director of the Emergency Department. They will oversee the daily activities of the EMS Department and will oversee all of the staff members associated with the department. The will manage the maintenance of the fleet as well as ensure budgets are met and equipment remains up to date.

The EMS Director will have the opportunity to continue to use their clinical skills and education as this will be a working director role. The Director will function as an on-shift medic as needed. With accordance to this, the ideal candidate will hold an Associates Degree in EMS and will maintain a current TX license as a Paramedic. They will be experience in the area of personnel and program management as well as fleet maintenance.

Located in East Texas, the EMS Director will have plenty to do in their off time as the town and surrounding area have more than 1800 Historic Sites and an Award-Winning Main Street District. Both Dallas and Waco are less than a 2 hour drive away.
