Within the Radiology unit—also known as Diagnostic Imaging—this service line delivers comprehensive imaging across CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and diagnostic X-ray, with a continuous focus on access, throughput, dose management, and ACR-level quality standards; the Director Imaging Services will champion technology upgrades, image-sharing interoperability, data-driven quality dashboards, and evidence-based protocols that support accurate, timely diagnoses, all while anchoring care at a full-service a 154-bed general acute care hospital facility serving as a comprehensive healthcare hub for northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma.
The Director Diagnostic Imaging will report to an executive leader such as the Chief Operating Officer while partnering closely with the Radiology Medical Director, service line administrators, and modality supervisors; key responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, capital equipment evaluation, accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, staffing and recruitment, scheduling optimization, physician relations, patient-flow coordination, and performance improvement initiatives, with strong administrative support, optimized PACS and decision support tools, and a collaborative environment where friendly nurses, technologists, and a diverse, interprofessional team rally around safe, efficient, patient-centered imaging care.
