The Director of Admissions will join a family of dedicated nurses and other health care professionals in a leading senior services organization in Northern California that provides comprehensive care and social services to support aging well. Serving over 2,500 individuals annually, they are committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults of all faiths.   

The Director of Admissions will be responsible for supporting the Director of Admissions in the overall management of the pre and post admissions-related functions of the short-term and long-term programs. The Director of Admissions focuses on achieving the organization’s census and revenue goals, by providing leadership and ‘point of contact’ for both external and internal stakeholders.   

Externally, the Director of Admissions acts as an ‘Ambassador’ representing the campus in numerous capacities, to diverse audiences. Internally, the Director of Admissions collaborates with other Department leaders and Executives to ensure the organization is efficiently managing patient and resident ‘throughput’ (bed management). 

The Director of Admissions will meet and exceed the stated census and revenue goals. while providing leadership support for the organizations’ overall business/bottom-line objectives. The Director of Admissions will develop, grow and maintain relationships with referral sources (Case Managers, Social Workers), to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.   

The Director of Admissions will provide leadership support as it pertains to bed management and patient ‘throughput.’ This includes collaboration with Nursing and Social Services to ensure patients/residents are housed in the appropriate bed/unit. The ideal candidate for Director of Admissions should have current California LVN/ RN license required with knowledge in contracted insurance providers required.
