In this Director of Patient Care Services role, you’ll collaborate closely with an acute care hospital that welcomes approximately 1,000 admissions annually. The case mix spans orthopedic recovery, cardiopulmonary care, stroke rehabilitation, complex wounds, and medically complex patients. You’ll drive throughput, reduce avoidable readmissions, and optimize length of stay using data-driven dashboards and care pathways. As the Nursing Director, your leadership will strengthen handoffs, discharge planning, and family-centered education. These partnerships ensure a seamless continuum from hospital to skilled nursing services.

Reporting directly to the Administrator, the Chief Nursing Officer will lead a friendly, diverse, and highly engaged clinical team of 40 nurses and 82 CNAs, alongside dedicated therapists and case managers. As the Director of Nursing, you’ll guide clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, survey readiness, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance. You’ll be supported by educators, quality leaders, and a staffing coordinator, with analytics that enable acuity-based scheduling and outcomes improvement. The Nursing Director will mentor charge nurses, elevate competencies, and hardwire best practices through purposeful rounding and skills validation.
