The Hospital Facilities Director will oversee Facility Operations, also known as Plant Operations, for a 25-bed critical access community hospital established in the late 1950s. The Director Plant Operations will support an organization whose core strengths include round-the-clock emergency services, accredited patient care, and an integrated family health and specialty clinic network providing local access to surgical, orthopedic, and acute care. This leader will help ensure that hospital buildings, utilities, life-safety systems, preventive maintenance programs, vendor services, and capital projects consistently support safe, efficient patient care.

Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the Hospital Facilities Director will receive organizational support while directing daily Plant Operations, regulatory compliance, environment-of-care activities, emergency management, construction coordination, equipment planning, and departmental budgeting. The Director Facility Operations will guide facilities personnel, manage contractors, maintain documentation, prepare for inspections, and collaborate closely with friendly nurses, physicians, clinical leaders, infection prevention specialists, administrative partners, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
