The Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will join a nonprofit community medical center known for delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a close-knit, collaborative culture. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will work alongside nursing leadership and interdisciplinary department leaders to strengthen clinical education across the organization. The Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will provide leadership for a dedicated team of 3 to 4 professionals while partnering closely with managers, directors, physicians, and frontline staff to ensure education programs align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
The Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will oversee a department focused on professional development, clinical competency, onboarding, and continuing education for nursing staff throughout the hospital. This collaborative team supports caregivers across multiple service lines, creating opportunities to work with engaged leaders, experienced clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Experience with HealthStream and American Heart Association education programs will help position the Clinical Education & Training RN Manager for long-term success.
The Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will lead educational initiatives that strengthen clinical practice, enhance staff competency, and support evidence-based care throughout the organization. This leader will mentor staff, oversee competency validation, coordinate orientation and professional development programs, and champion quality improvement efforts while fostering critical thinking and lifelong learning. The Clinical Education & Training RN Manager will also oversee department operations including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, policy development, performance management, and collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality educational services.
