As Cardiac Clinical Nurse Manager of Intensive Care Unit you will guide a 30 bed critical care service. Ten beds form a high acuity cardiac ICU. Twenty beds support a medical surgical ICU. The hospital is a Level II trauma center with rapid response.

The Critical Care Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Clinical Care and is backed by educators, charge nurses, and friendly nurses. You act as a change agent and drive unit and hospital wide improvements. You assure a safe continuum of care by tracking staff assessments and collaboration, reviewing reports, and coordinating transfers and discharge planning. You serve as a resource for clear discharge instructions, guide patient education, and plan staff development. You monitor compliance with plans of care as patients progress and verify accurate assessments through chart review, direct observation, and quality checks with a diverse team.
