Cardiac Rehab Assistant Manager
One of New York's top hospitals is seeking a Cardiac Rehab Assistant Manager to join their team near Poughkeepsie, NY.
The full-time position of the Cardiac Rehab Assistant Manager critical role in managing daily operations, facilitating program development, driving performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. Additionally, you will serve as a direct caregiver, providing essential cardiac rehabilitation services to patients and contributing to their recovery and overall health improvement.
As a leader in this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director to support the budgetary process, oversee staff performance, and implement risk reduction and patient education programs. Candidates for the Cardiac Rehab Assistant Manager should have a Bachelor’s Degree in an allied health field such as exercise physiology, nursing, or physical therapy. A Master’s degree in a health-related field or CCPR certification will make you stand out. Candidates should bring a minimum of two years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation, including a strong background in patient education and risk factor reduction. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association are also preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team are essential.
