The BMT Transplant Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the Bone Marrow Transplant medical team to provide a continuum of care for bone marrow transplant patients. The Oncology Nurse Practitioner of Bone Marrow Transplant Program collaborates with nurses and family members to implement plans of care before, during and after surgery.

The Nurse Practitioner Transplants attends and participates in patient selection meetings and documentation of patient progress. The Adult Nurse Practitioner maintains high levels of competency by staying active in educational programs and knowledgeable in the most current procedures and practices.
