The Nursing Manager of Employee and Occupational Health will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and collaborate with Managers in other departments of the hospital. The Occupational and Employee Health Nurse Manager will work closely with management, staff, administration, physicians, and others to ensure quality services are delivered.
The Nurse Manager of Employee and Occupational Health Services will be responsible for the vision and strategic planning necessary to provide the organization with the best integrated services available by writing and updating policies and procedures concerning the programs and activities in the areas of Employee Health Management and Wellness.
The Nursing Manager of Employee and Occupational Health will oversee Safety and Injury Prevention and Workers Compensation Claims programs. The Manager of Occupational Health will secure current educational resources for Illness and Injury Prevention as well as for the New Hire Process. The Employee and Occupational Health Nurse Manager will serve on Performance Improvement committees for a Safe Environment and Infection Control/Prevention.
The Nurse Manager of Occupational and Employee Health Services will ensure the quality of services delivered to hospital employees by maintaining excellent communication with intradepartmental colleagues and staff. The Occupational and Employee Health Manager will also develop and maintain respectful relationships with outside partners, consultants and vendors.
