The Nurse Manager Critical Care will work for a top-ranked health system that offers hospitals and clinics thorough North Carolina. The Nurse Manager Critical Care will join a team of renowned physicians, nurses, specialists, and ancillary staff to provide care to patients admitted to the 150-bed community hospital. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Nurse Manager Critical Care will oversee day-to-day operations of the Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, the Nurse Manager Critical Care will assist with staff scheduling, new-hire education, updating policy procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, payroll, scheduling, evaluations, and assisting the Nurse Educator with creating new hire and current staff educational curriculum. The Nurse Manager Critical Care will encourage a positive, team-oriented environment, be a visible leader that is willing and able to work-hands on if needed, and an individual who is excited to motivate, educate, and be a resource to their innovative, dynamic team. The Nurse Manager Critical Care must hold an active RN license with a clinical background working in a Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit, as well as prior leadership experience.
