Reporting to the Director of Nursing Inpatient Services, the Women and Children Services Nurse Manager will be accountable for overseeing the Labor and Delivery unit and team of Assistant Managers, Registered Nurses, Technicians, and ancillary staff. Responsibilities of the Women and Children Services Nurse Manager include overseeing department workflow, scheduling, managing the budget, ensuring regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures and assisting with staff education. The Women and Children Services Nurse Manager will be a positive individual who is excited to promote a patient-centered environment and lead, mentor, motivate, and educate an innovative team. Ideally, the Women and Children Services Nurse Manager will have prior leadership experience, a clinical background working in a labor and delivery unit, and an active RN license.
