The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will join a fast-paced perioperative department that is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art technology to provide the best possible care to each patient. The Surgical Services department is accustomed to performing upwards of 1500 surgeries every month. The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will encounter a variety of surgeries within the Perioperative department including but not limited to wound care, cleft palate surgeries, general surgeries, cardiovascular, neurological, orthopedic, joint replacements, pediatrics, plastic and reconstructive, robotic, spin, surgical oncology, thoracic surgery, urological surgery, and weight loss surgery.


The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Surgical Services and be responsible in assisting the Director design and implement programs and policies to further advance the day-to-day operations of the surgery department. The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will be supported by a talented team of clinicians including a large team of staff nurses, surgical techs, sterile processing techs, nurse educators, nurse coordinators, and many other ancillary units throughout the hospital. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in surgical services and will also hold some level of leadership experience.
