The Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Services are provided in Inpatient and Outpatients settings. The department offers proficiency in ortho, spinal, vestibular, hand, geriatric, neurological, communication, cognitive, and swallowing conditions. As an Outpatient Speech Pathologist with this hospital you will be assigned care of a patient, insuring that both patient and provider become familiar with each other and the care being given. You will work closely with other care providers and family members to facilitate treatment plans.
The Speech Pathologist will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement speech therapies for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The Speech Pathologist Outpatient will need a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Masters and be a certified by the American Speech-Language and hearing Association and licensed in the state of California. Furthermore, a certification in Clinical Competence is preferred.
