A progressive, not-for-profit healthcare organization is looking for a dedicated and experienced Skilled Nursing Director to join the leadership team at an award-winning facility.
This 100-bed facility is part of a larger health care system that offers the area’s most progressive services including emergency care, maternity, neurology, primary care and comprehensive senior care. This facility is very near a sister acute care hospital and has been recently awarded a 5-Star Overall Facility Rating from CMS.
The Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Director will oversee all administrative and clinical aspects of this 100-bed facility. There are four units in total that offer varying levels of care for residents. The Nurse Director Skilled Nursing Facility will ensure the daily operational, administrative and clinical success of the facility, including oversight of nursing practice, staff recruitment and retention, budgeting, and quality improvement. The large staff looks to the Nurse Director to provide support, guidance and expertise in the facility. The Nurse Director provides supervisory direction for the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel while maintaining operational aspects of the facility in collaboration with support services.
The Nurse Director joins a highly competent leadership team committed to the highest quality patient care and will work under the direction of a supportive Administrator and System VP/Chief Nursing Officer to provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care. This role will be supported by an Assistant Director of Nursing and 2 Nurse Managers.
The SNF Nurse Director role is located in a small, but active town in Northern New York.
