A fulfilling role awaits the new Senior Director of Nursing at this respected and well-known Rehabilitation Hospital. This person will take Executive control over an outstanding Nursing program that offers Amputee and Wound Care Centers of Excellence. This 40+ bed facility is fully accredited by CARF and by The Joint Commission, and that commitment to excellence is evident in everything they do.

Reporting to the Regional Chief Nursing Executive (CNE), the Rehabilitation Hospital Nursing Director will oversee a beautiful facility and excellent staff. Supported by an Rehab RN Nurse Manager, a Wound Care Supervisor, and a Unique Quality Improvement / Infection Control Coordinator, the Senior Director will find a great network to lead.

The Senior Director of Nursing will serve as a clinical and operations expert for an amazing group of nurses in this Rehabilitation Hospital. This person will lead a large RN patient care team dedicated to providing Long-Term Rehabilitation care to a wide range of patient populations. Among the other services offered is an Accredited Wound Care program, staffed by 8 FTEs, a Sleep Lab, and a team of Care Transition  / Case Managers.

The Rehabilitation Nursing Senior Director will take responsibly for clinical and operational oversight of a large, compassionate nursing team. This Director will:

  • develop, implement, and maintain Nursing Policies and Procedures, coordinating updates as needed and serving as the facility’s subject matter expert.
  • collaborate with leaders throughout the region and the health system do develop operational synergies in care transitions.
  • serve as a clinical mentor and leader for nursing staff, promoting shared governance, supporting patient / client dignity and satisfaction, and fostering educational growth
  • provide leadership around accreditation processes and Surveys with CARF, TJC, CADPH, and many others
