The Senior Nurse Director Emergency Services will have clinical and operational oversight of the emergency medicine service line across three hospital campuses. Combined the three emergency departments experience approximately 65,000 annual visits. The Director will report to the health system’s Chief Nursing Officer and will work together with Emergency Medicine Medical Director and Administrator. Responsibilities include budget development, improving performance metrics, and strategic planning. The Senior Nurse Director will also be responsible for implementing new performance improvement standards within the service line to ensure the highest level of quality care is being delivered to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine with progressive leadership experience. This leader will play a huge role in growing the emergency medicine service line. This is a great opportunity to manage more than one hospital for higher acuity departments.
