A respected health care facility in Missouri is seeking a RNFA Registered Nurse First Assist to assist their Surgical Services staff in providing the highest grade of patient care during surgical procedures.

Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the RNFA Registered Nurse First Assist will be working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff to complete procedures. Alongside the Surgeon, the RNFA Registered Nurse First Assist is responsible for assisting the operating room staff in prepping the patient for the procedure and working intraoperatively assisting the surgeon with maintaining hemostasis during the procedure, wound closure and any other duties as assigned.
