RNFA Registered Nurse First Assist

A respected health care facility in the Midwest is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant to assist their Surgical Services staff in providing the highest grade of patient care.

Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Registered Nurse First Assistant will be working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff to complete procedures. Alongside the Surgeon, the Registered Nurse First Assistant is responsible for assisting the operating room staff in prepping the patient for the procedure and working intraoperatively assisting the surgeon with maintaining hemostasis during the procedure, wound closure and any other duties as assigned.
