RN Periop Quality Program Manager

A reputable Washington health system is hiring a program director for their Quality department to develop and implement all quality programs and initiatives in the Surgery Department. The RN Periop Quality Program Manager will be an integral leader to the Surgery Department.

The RN Periop Quality Program Manager is responsible for leading and designing programs and processes regarding clinical quality, patient safety, continuous readiness, and regulatory compliance in the Surgery Department. The RN Quality Program Manager will develop action plans in areas of quality improvement and work with leaders throughout the unit during all stages of implementation by coaching, facilitating, and supporting initiatives.

This healthcare system is a nonprofit, locally owned, growing combination of acute care hospitals offering specialty services. The award-winning flagship facility is recognized as a top hospital and houses a level III NICU. This busy surgery department preforms more surgeries than anyone in the region including the most total joint replacements in the state. 

The RN Quality Program Manager works in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Quality and Patient Safety. Data collection and assessment, staff development, and risk analysis are all responsibilities of this opening. The RN Periop Quality Program Manager leads the way for research and evidence based practice with the pre-surgical, intraoperative, and post-operative teams.
