The RN Oncology Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing clinical and administrative operations on an Inpatient Hematology / Oncology / Med/Surg floor. The Oncology Department is proud to boast the only full-service Cancer Center in this area of New York City and to be fully accredited in Breast Cancer with a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Center & American College of Radiology.
The RN Oncology Nurse Manager will lead a team of highly skilled nurses, technologists, and support staff and report to the hospital's Nurse Director of Oncology. Functioning as a member of the hospital's leadership team, the RN Oncology Nurse Manager will be responsible for staff orientation, setting department goals, and maintaining effective department productivity. The ideal candidate is a Master’s prepared RN with an Oncology certification.
