As the Nursing Manager who oversees Women’s and Children’s Health, you’ll play a vital role in the operations of this acute care hospital and its continued support to the community.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Women’s & Children’s Services Manager will serve as clinical and administrative lead for a dedicated team. You’ll serve as mentor and champion for OBGYN and RNC-OB Registered Nurses, Postpartum Nurses, Midwives, support staff. The Nursing Manager will also work closely with the outstanding physicians that call this hospital home, helping to coordinate a wide array of procedures and services.
The Nursing Manager will get to oversee and expansive Women’s and Children’s Health Department, which offers a wide array of services to the community. You’ll collaborate with leaders in radiology to support breast health and bone density, you’ll work with laboratory leadership to support healthy pre-natal panels, and with dietetic experts to educate about nutrition.
When an expectant mother’s big day arrives, the labor and delivery department really shines. Offering expertise in alternative birthing positions and methods, the Nursing Manager will lead a unit with patient-centered care as its primary focus.
You’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining clinical and operational excellence for not only the Women’s Services department, but also the hospital. Clinically, the Nursing Manager will serve the staff and unit as a source of expertise, mentorship, and performance measurement. From an administration standpoint, you’ll develop and maintain the departmental budget, and you’ll serve as the expert on compliance and regulatory readiness for these multiple units.
