A highly accredited healthcare system is seeking an RN Nurse Manager of Palliative Care in the greater Indiana area.

Directly reporting to the healthcare system Administrative Director of Palliative Care, the Nurse Manager of Palliative Care will oversee multiple hospice facilities in the area, responsible for the budget, operational work-flow of the facilities, hiring, firing, evaluation, and education of the staff and developing performance improvement initiatives.
The Palliative Care Nurse Manager will provide quality clinical care, leading a team of highly skilled, dedicated RN Staff in the department. The Palliative Care Hospice department promotes the utmost comfort and quality care by providing pain management from a holistic perspective, including patients who are dealing with chronic or life limiting illnesses. The Palliative Hospice Care team will consist of Nurse Practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case managers. The RN Nurse Manager of Palliative Care and Palliative Care Hospice RN Staff will encounter a number of chronic illnesses within the department, including many forms of cancer at any stage.
Located near the western border of Indiana, the Nurse Manager of Palliative Care can easily commute to downtown Chicago, spend the day on Lake Michigan, or go visit the State of Michigan.
