An exciting new opportunity for a RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds has just opened up at a non-profit, short-term acute care hospital in beautiful, serene Washington State! This is an exciting opportunity to build a new unit as RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds.
Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing Services, the RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds will be supported by a dedicated team of 25 staff, including Med Surg Swing Bed RNs. The RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds will oversee a combination of Medical Surgical and Swing beds with an average daily census of 5-7 patients. The RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds will have the opportunity to build and manage a new Transitional Care Unit.
This 25-bed Critical Access Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center and provides crucial support to the surrounding area. This medical center is well respected for high levels of patient care and close personal relationships within the community. Accredited by the Joint Commission, the hospital offers comprehensive services including inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical services, and diagnostic and emergency care. The hospital plans to build a new Acute and Surgical wing next year.
The RN Manager Med Surg Swing Beds will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. The Nurse Manager Surgical Services will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning.
