Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Manager Emergency Room Acute Care will oversee a 5-bed Emergency Room that sees 400 patients each month as well as 8 Acute Care beds. The RN Manager Emergency Room Acute Care will hire, coach and mentor new grad RNs.
The RN Manager Emergency Room Acute Care will collaborate with the Infection Control Committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The RN Manager Emergency Room Acute Care will be responsible for the 24 hour supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
