Reporting to the Nurse Director of Emergency Services, the RN Manager Emergency Room will be well supported by a skilled team of talented Assistant ER Nurse Managers and ED Charge Nurses. The RN Manager Emergency Room will be responsible and accountable for departmental standards, staff competencies, and overall budget.
The Assistant RN Director Emergency Department will collaborate with the Infection Control Committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The Assistant RN Director Emergency Department will be responsible for the 24 hour supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
