An excellent short-term acute care hospital in Central Washington seeks a RN Director Womens and Childrens Services to take the reigns in their newly renovated Family Birthing Center!
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Womens and Childrens Services will oversee Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Pediatrics. The RN Director Womens and Childrens Services will be well supported by skilled team of 2 talented Nurse Managers and 4 Clinical Coordinators.
The Director Womens and Childrens Services will be responsible and accountable for departmental standards, staff competencies, and overall budget. In collaboration with the Director of Quality, the Director Womens and Childrens Services will also strive to improve the quality of patient care by utilizing best practices and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
The RN Director Womens and Childrens Services will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, program development, policies and procedures implementation, performance improvement and compliance. The RN Director Womens and Childrens Services will collaborate with other Nursing Directors, Ancillary Directors, Nursing Administration and Physicians in variety of committees within the hospital.
