The RN Director of Clinical Staff Development will be supported by multiple Clinical Educators who supervise various departments. The Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will direct administrative duties for the education department that will be discussed weekly with the CNO. This Nurse Leader will also collaborate with other Clinical Directors to review and determine any educational needs of each department, as well as hospital-wide.
The RN Director of Clinical Staff Development will have the opportunity to oversee all educational requirements and even be able to develop new education plans to implement hospital-wide. The Director will also work in partnership will Human resources to manage the online learning systems for new and current employees. Assisting department-specific Leaders, the Director will identify, research, and develop regulatory requirements to meet the needs and goals of each department to ensure their success. Along with this, the Director will supervise new hire orientations, promote continuing education, and oversee the budget and revenue.
