Registered Nurse Manager of Risk and Accreditation

A local community hospital in a sunny central California is hiring Registered Nurse Manager of Risk and Accreditation to lead their team of medical Risk professionals.

This 460 plus bed acute care facility offers a family centered, full service comprehensive healthcare center with state-of-the-art technology and implementing the most current evidence-based practice. This facility is accredited by multiple organizations locally and nationally.

 The hiring Registered Nurse Manager of Risk and Accreditation is responsible for the facility’s activities aimed at preventing risk. Requires broad knowledge of clinical and administrative requirements and accreditation/licensure standards. Coordinates classification and reporting of all patient, employee, and significant community acquired infections identified at the Medical Center. Infection Prevention Program and is responsible for compliance.

 Manager of Risk and Accreditation will report to the Director of Clinical Quality, the Accreditation Manager will ensure that the hospital and all services included on the State of California license are in continual readiness status for Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission), Department of Health Services (DHS) and Centers for Medicaid (CMS) surveys.

The hospital is home to a verified level 2 trauma center, cardiology, TAVR and open-heart surgery program, high risk obstetrics and a level 3 NICU, neurosurgery including spine specialties and deep brain stimulation services, interventional bi-plane radiology, oncology, a behavioral health campus and the region’s first DaVinci Robotic Surgical system.
