This hospital admits more than 1,600 patients a year and is a new facility. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will have the opportunity to work for a STEMI Receiving Center. The Nurse First Assistant will report to the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services and Medical Staff and will be responsible for assisting surgeons with a variety of general surgical procedures, cancer surgical procedures, and weight loss surgical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgical nursing professional who is looking to work with a team of high caliber medical professionals. The RNFA will have the opportunity to work in a 10 OR unit.
The Registered Nurse First Assistant will display ability to develop and maintain a working and professional relationship with patients, physicians and other team members. The RNFA will enjoy working in state-of-the-art operating rooms. The RNFA is a Perioperative Registered Nurse who functions in an expanded role and delivers excellent patient care in the Pre-operative, Intra-operative, and immediate Post-operative arenas.
