An established medical center that services the great community of Central Ohio currently seeks multiple experienced Registered Nurse First Assistants to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Registered Nurse First Assistant will have the opportunity to join a long-standing accredited healthcare.  The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work in a hospital that has roughly 100 licensed beds and is responsible for performing over 7,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries each year. This health system is known for working with world-class physicians that represent a number of medical specialties including cancer care, emergency care, heart and vascular procedures, imaging, sleep center, physical therapies, rehabilitations, and many other inpatient and outpatient surgical specialties.

The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work in a cutting-edge perioperative department. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work within an advanced team of perioperative professionals including numerous surgical nurses, clinical nurse specialists and educators, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, as well as a number of surgical technicians. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work to assist the General Surgeon on multiple different procedures.

The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work with the perioperative staff within the hospital to provide world-class surgical care. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will partner with an extraordinary team of perioperative clinicians the offer the comfort and privacy of a small health system while still being able to provide exceptional care. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work alongside the surgeon to provide direct patient care and will assume the role of a professional colleague to the general surgeon. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will monitor patients’ responses and will administer medications accordingly throughout the surgical procedures. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will also participate in professional development initiatives within the perioperative department.
