Regional Nurse Manager Oncology

An award-winning teaching hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Regional Nurse Manager Oncology to join their fully-accredited cancer center team.

This state-of-the-art cancer center provides treatment and therapies to care for even the most complex of cancers. By combining a team of nationally accredited Medical, Radiation, Surgical Oncologists, and a team of oncology-certified Oncology Nurses, this system is known to delivery highly personalized comprehensive patient care plans to each individual. To ensure the highest level of care, this cancer center also provides access to world-class Nutritionists, Social Workers, and Nurse Navigators for any and all patient needs.

Under direction of the Cancer Center Administrative Director, the Regional Nurse Manager will oversee all radiation and medical oncology nursing staff, medical assistant, and clinical trial staff within the center. The Regional Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations of multiple regional sites and will serve as a clinical leader within the Cancer Center’s Management team. The Regional Nurse Manager is directly responsible for the personnel management, quality assurance and performance improvement, and fiscal oversight of the center.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing along with current state nursing licensure. Current Oncology Nursing certification (OCN) is required. The Regional Nurse Manager should have at least 3-5 years of prior progressive management experience overseeing a cancer care center of oncology service line.
