A highly regarded non-profit healthcare network seeks a Regional Nurse Director Labor and Delivery to oversee Women’s Services at two short-term acute care hospitals in Washington State.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Regional Nurse Director Labor and Delivery Women’s Services will oversee Nurse Managers in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU at each campus. The Regional Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will collaborate often with the Director of Quality Improvement to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Regional Nurse Director Women’s Services Labor Delivery is responsible for the entire Women’s Services service line, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and several satellite Women’s clinics. The Regional Nurse Director Women’s Services Labor Delivery will have strategic oversight for meeting and exceeding operational goals, improving HCAHPS scores, and directing staff development.
The Regional Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will be based primarily out of the larger of the two facilities, a 200-bed hospital that is nationally renowned for their outstanding cardiac, oncology, neurology, orthopedic, labor and delivery, rehabilitation and surgical services. The Regional Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will regularly visit the second, smaller hospital which is a quick drive away.
