Reporting to the Market Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Regional Manager will play an important role in the Clinical and Administrative Operations across two facilities. Supported by a Technical Supervisor and three Pharmacy Department Leads, the Manager will join an environment built on open collaboration and teamwork. Additional support comes from a tenured team of Pharmacy Techs, many of whom are PharmD prepared with PGY1 and/or PGY2 residencies, who work on the front lines of clinical pharmacy care.
The Regional Manager will oversee Administrative and Clinical Pharmacy Operations at two Acute Care Medical Centers totaling around 300-beds. The Pharmacy Departments in these facilities are exceptionally outfitted with fully integrated cutting-edge information systems which are fully help with ordering inventory, improving patient safety, drug usage reporting, and cost tracking.
Along with the day-to-day of Inpatient hospital Pharmacy Management duties like staffing, inventory control, and regulatory compliance, the Regional Manager will also get to focus on a wide array of operational and clinical challenges - playing a major role in addressing those challenges head on. Operationally, the Assistant Hospital Director of Pharmacy will develop multiple initiatives addressing best practices and efficient operations within the department, as well as developing staffing and quality assurance methods that will scale with growth. A strong clinical background in quality assurance, LEAN methodology, or other professional experience will prove a strong tool in building efficiencies within these service lines.
