The Psychiatric Intensive Care RN Manager will join a health care system with entities throughout the State of Vermont including a 150+ bed hospital campus that includes a 24-Hour Emergency Room, Sports Medicine Institution, Cancer Center and Sleep Clinics. Within the Closed Ward PICU, the Psychiatric Intensive Care RN Manager will serve as a Clinical expert and Nurse Leader within the restricted unit. This unit treats patients suffering from acute diseases, behavioral disorders, suicidal tendencies those at risk of self-harm.
The Psychiatric Intensive Care RN Manager will assist in patient documentation, explanation of care delivery to patients and their family members and provide expertise and guidance to PICU RN staff. Additional responsibilities of the Psychiatric Intensive Care RN Manager will include departmental safety measure oversite, proper implementation of hospital procedure and monitoring of patient throughput.
