The Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program provides psychiatric care to patients who have an acute psychiatric presentation requiring a comprehensive evaluation and disposition. Patients range in age from 5 years old with no upper age limit. The Psychiatric Emergency Manager provides and integrates clinical leadership and management on a 24 hour bases,
The Psychiatric Emergency Manager will report to the Director of Behavioral Health and will collaborate with the Nurse Director Emergency Department.
The Behavioral Health Manager will lead a team of Marriage, Family and Child Counselors, Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors, in this state of the art Emergency Department.
The Emergency Services Behavioral Health Manager will oversee a department which treats patients from Pediatric to Geriatric, and often is dealing with Adolescent patients in crisis.
The ideal candidate for the Behavioral Health Manager – Emergency Services, will be licensed as a Marriage, Family and Child Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or a Licensed Professional Counselor, with some leadership experience, and experience working with patients in crisis in the Emergency Department.
