Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

A rural Colorado short-term acute care medical center is actively recruiting for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team of dedicated nurses, providers, and staff.

This medical center provides for a cohesive community and the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will do the same as they will be a part of this 100 bed medical center. As a part of this medical center the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will have philanthropic-mindset and desire to improve the community. The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical services at the top of their license while being supported by the Administrative Director of Clinic Operations. The Administrative Director of Clinic Operations will be the Primary Care Nurse Practitioners’ main point of contact to report and collaborate with. The medical center encourages collaboration, asking questions, and professional growth, so the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will be frequently presented with growth opportunities. The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner being a team player is necessary within this role.

As the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner works at the top of the NP license, responsibilities will range from assessing patient symptoms to clinical duties such as quality assurance. Developing care plans, referring patients to ancillary services, collaborating with other patient care members, and more are all routine aspects of this position. The Primary Care Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests to provide excellent patient care. All of the essential job functions will be done under the direction of an assigned supervising Physician.
