The Mother & Baby Nurse Manager will be joining a 400+ patient bed hospital and lead a unit that provides top-tier perinatal services. Award-winning services include antepartum, intrapartum, triage, and postpartum. The Labor and Delivery unit performs up to 150 deliveries a month and 3,650 triage visits a year. This hospital is home to a Level IV NICU and as a quaternary care hospital, 70% of moms seen are high-risk and neonates with medically complex comorbidities. This highly-advanced medical center offers 24/7 in-house coverage from residents, attending Generalist OBs, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, CNMs, and OB Anesthesia.

Experience in formal, supervisory leadership in perinatal nursing will provide a strong background for a Nurse Leader interested in pursuing this opportunity. Job-specific responsibilities expected of the Nurse Manager of Mother & Baby include directing patient care, planning and implementation of programs to meet specific patient care needs, focus on continuous improvement of the quality of patient care, and planning and management of the budget.
