The Perioperative Services Nurse Director will be responsible for all perioperative departments, including pre-op holding, all operating rooms, anesthesiology, PACU, ambulatory surgery, and the GI lab. The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will work closely with and report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief of Surgery, in order to ensure smooth operation of all departments, manage departmental budgetary planning, along with other administrative duties as assigned. The Perioperative Nurse Director will have the wonderful opportunity to provide hands-on leadership to staff, acting as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and their families, as well as motivating staff and promoting an attitude of excellence in all areas.
This role is RN and BSN-required, and MSN-preferred. CNOR certification is highly desirable. This facility is looking for a nurse leader with an energetic attitude who is passionate about providing high quality leadership and management to approximately 60 direct reports.
