Perioperative Nurse Manager

The Perioperative Nurse Manager will join an advanced team of clinical professionals within the perioperative department including a strong team of surgical nurses, surgical techs, sterile processing techs, clinical nurse educators, and administrative directors. The Perioperative Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading a surgery department that is home to 5 OR’s that completes roughly 50 surgeries each week. The Perioperative department at this hospital is accustomed to seeing many types of patient cases each day including biopsy, cataract procedures, hernia repairs, pain management, podiatry procedures, plastic surgeries, endoscopy procedures, orthopedics, and many others.

The Perioperative Nurse Manager will assume responsibility for the efficient productivity and budgetary requirements within the department. The Perioperative Nurse Manager will ensure patient satisfaction through adequate supervision and evaluation of the level of care and treatment each patient receives. The ideal candidate for this role will encompass a strong prior understanding of surgical services and should have a notable ability to lead a team of clinical professionals.
