Performance Improvement Specialist Trauma Services

A unique opportunity is now available with a prestigious Central California Medical Center seeking Quality Improvement Specialist Trauma Services.

The Trauma Quality Nurse Coordinator is responsible for working throughout the Medical Center and identifying ways to improve performance, create and promote performance improvement initiates throughout the Trauma Center.

The Trauma Program Quality Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for mediating insights from the analytics platforms to physicians and other key clinical and administrative stakeholders in an actionable and compelling manager.

The Quality Improvement Specialist Trauma Services will coordinate ongoing data collection for the measurement, assessment and improvement of outcomes.  The Quality Coordinator will provide leadership and participate in numbers Quality Counsels and will be instrumental in Quality Improvement Measures throughout the Medical Center.

The Quality Improvement Specialist will collaborate with the Nurse Manager Trauma Program to implement programs throughout the ER, ICU and Trauma Department to reduce patient infection rates and improve quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Trauma Nurse, and will have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.  The necessary background can be varied: Nurse Manager Trauma Services, Nurse Educator Trauma, Critical Care Nurse Educator or Performance Improvement specialist with a passion for Critical Care, Emergency or Trauma Services.
