A medium sized hospital in Central Washington is actively recruiting for a Nurse Manager to oversee the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This important nursing leadership role will report to the Nurse Director of Women’s and Children’s Health. As one of the largest hospitals in the region, the NICU and Pediatric Units provide life-saving care to those families and children that need it the most.
The Pediatric and NICU Nurse Manager will oversee two units. The Pediatric floor at this hospital is a 17 bed unit, and the NICU has 18 beds and is a Level III NICU. The Pediatric and NICU Nurse Manager will work to develop their staff, improve staff engagement, and help this hospital transition from Covid times to traditional healthcare delivery. Currently, the Pediatric unit has been utilized as a Covid-19 overflow unit.
