An award winning pediatric hospital is looking for a skilled Nurse Manager of Crisis Stabilization to lead their Psychiatric Crisis Department.
This pediatric hospital is a nationally ranked acute care teaching hospital located in central Ohio with nearly 680 pediatric beds. This pediatric offers a wide range of services including behavioral health services, surgical services, sports medicine, cardiovascular services, cancer services, and much more.
The Manager will work closely with the Director on developing expenses, operational and capital budgets, and evaluate and justify monthly budget expenditures and revenue. The Manager will be in charge of recruiting, training, evaluating, and developing staff as well as disciplining subordinate staff. The Manager should be able to promote teamwork by building a team environment and foster cross-functional collaboration. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining safety and quality as priorities and provide direction with accountability, enthusiasm, and support. The Manager will coordinate staff representation on departmental, hospital, and community task forces as well as committees and advisory groups. The Manager will coordinate the development of proficiency testing for EPIC implementations.
- MSN or Masters in a related field with a BSN required
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as an RN required , pediatric experience preferred
- Preferred Certification in Nursing Informatics, Leadership or Clinical Specialty
