The hospital is seeking a motivated go-getter to fill this Pediatric Emergency Room Assistant Nurse Manager.  A Pediatric RN working in an Assistant Manager, Coordinator, Charge, or Supervisor role is the perfect candidate. This ED Nurse must have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the practice of nursing forward. Whether this is by continuing their education, participating in quality improvement committees, or serving as a preceptor.
The Pediatric Emergency Room Assistant Nurse Manager will work with management to facilitate, mentor, and evaluate staff to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. In addition, the Pediatric Emergency Room Assistant Nurse Manager will continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with the CNM, other departments clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients in a timely manner.
