Pain Management Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

An award-winning critical access hospital located in southern New Hampshire is currently searching for an experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join their dynamic healthcare team.

This state-of-the-art Critical Access hospital offers a wide range of clinical services including medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, pediatrics, and mental health services. The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner will work within a Non-Profit Critical Access hospital that is regionally known for providing accessible and the highest of quality patient-centered care.

The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner will work within an advanced team of clinical professionals that offer a comprehensive and technologically advanced approach to pain treatment. The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner will encounter a number of conditions that are treated within the pain management department including musculoskeletal care, spinal and neck pain, hip pain, discogenic pain, spinal disorders, arthritis related pain, neuropathic pain, neuralgias, shingles, acute and chronic pain, myofascial pain, regional pain syndrome (RSD), cancer related pain, bursitis, fibromyalgia, headaches and migraines, abdominal wall pain, piriformis syndrome, among many others.

The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner will work alongside a team of clinically advanced pain management nurses, physicians, clinical educators, physical therapists, and will interact with many other departments throughout the hospital. The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner will participate in patient evaluations, epidural steroid injections, lumbar injections, cervical injections, thoracic facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injections, ultrasound guided injections, major join injections, intercostal blocks, medication and physical therapies.
