A medium sized community hospital in the East Bay is seeking a PACU Nurse Manager to be a valued member of their perioperative leadership team. The PACU Nurse Manager will lead the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at this medical center that has six operating rooms. The Surgical team performs 30 to 40 surgical cases per day and is proud of the high quality patient outcomes the patients receive.
This hospital system is known for providing great support of the RN Management, and the PACU RN Manager will be supported by a team of Assistant RN Managers.The PACU Nurse Manager will work with an experienced team of PACU RNs, surgical technologist and sterile processing staff. The clinical leadership in the OR and PACU maintain constant open communication to ensure department efficiencies. Moreover, the RN Director of Perioperative Services routinely meets with department management and is clear about unit expectations and current quality initiatives or performance improvement projects.
