This 800-bed community hospital is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead their Ambulatory Surgical Center. This medical center is an accredited Level 1 Trauma Center that meets the needs of both adults and pediatrics. This busy teaching hospital features services such as Orthopedics, Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac, Surgery and Geriatrics. This hospital commits to continuous innovation, a diverse community, and strict safety protocols for all patients.
The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Surgery is responsible for the day-to-day function of the Operating Room and supervision of the Perioperative staff. The RN Manager is in charge of supporting patient care by ensuring compliance and making sure all policy and regulatory requirements are followed. The Nurse Manager will also coordinate with surgeons, staff, surgery coordinators, billing, and IT to maximize cost effective supplies and boost efficiency. Additionally, they will have the support of a Perioperative Nurse Director, Nurse Manager PACU, Manager SPD and Surgical Services Nurse Educator.
The ideal candidate for the Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Surgery will have prior Operating Room experience as well as Nursing Management and Leadership Experience. RNs with their MSN or CNOR will earn quick interviews!
