The Operations Director will play an integral role in leading clinical and administrative operations at this popular Multi-Site Ophthalmology and Optometry Clinic in the Greater Tucson Area. This Ophthalmology Clinic, regarded as one of the best in Arizona, has a long history of superior patient outcomes. Offering a full range of Ophthalmologic surgical procedures (including cataract extraction, eyelid surgery, and glaucoma treatments) as well as Optometry, the Director of Clinical Operations will join a team that’s on the cutting-edge of vision repair.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Clinical Operations Director will take wide range oversight of this Ophthalmology and Optometry practice. This person will receive clinical support from Certified Ophthalmic Technicians (COT) and COA Certified Ophthalmic Assistants, and will receive administrative support from experienced Physician Office Site Managers and Clinic Business Office Managers.
Because of this wide Clinical and Administrative oversight, the Operations Director will have to be an expert communicator, able to speak the technical language of Ophthalmology and Optometry just as well as the language of Profit and Loss. This is a very exciting role, as this Practice plans on doubling in size of the next two years, and the company is looking for an architect to lead those initiatives.
This means the Director will take on the daily activities of leading Clinical Operations, working closely with Ophthalmology M.D.s, and Technicians, and will also lead a large expansion project. This organization, currently made up of two Eye Centers and two Ambulatory Surgery Centers plans on adding two new Physician Practice locations and another location for Surgical Procedures.
