The Operating Room Senior Nurse Manager will be joining a state-of-the-art, 500+ patient bed, Level I Trauma Center hospital that is home to the most advanced inpatient and outpatient medical specialties such as 24/7 emergency care, cardiovascular services, Women and Infant Services, and an impressive array of advanced invasive and non-invasive surgical services. Surgical procedures include orthopedic, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, podiatry, neurology, spine, ENT, general, and other progressive services.
The Operating Room Senior Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Surgical Services and will be supported by clinical supervisors, charge nurses, and other department leaders. This is a large perioperative services department consisting of 20+ ORs, more than 80 full time employees including surgical techs, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, CNORs, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities as the Operating Room Senior Nurse Manager with this “Top 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Awarded” facility consist of the facilitation of corrective action, patient assessment, resolution of family/visitor issues as well as maintenance of open communication with other department leaders. Prior leadership experience in Peri-operative services and a hands-on leadership style will make for quick interviews!
